• Cann is pursuing a fully-integrated business model with collaboration agreements, resources and capabilities that will enable it to establish a leading position in plant genetics, breeding, cultivation, production, manufacturing, and clinical evaluation to facilitate the supply of medicinal cannabis for a range of diseases and medical conditions.
• CAN was issued with Australia’s first medicinal cannabis research licence in February 2017, in addition to Australia’s first medicinal cannabis cultivation licence in March 2017. The Company now has in place manufacturing licences for existing facilities and import / export licences and permits for cannabis genetics and medicinal cannabis products.
• CAN is close to completing the construction of a large-scale, state-of-the-art medicinal cannabis cuiltivation and manufacturing facility in Mildura, Victoria. Debt financing of this facility has been secured via NAB and the Company is on-track to complete and commission this facility, with initial cultivation activity scheduled to start by the end of this calendar year
